Never done a blog post that wasn't about a story... but I LOVE THIS EPISODE! Trixie so awesome!

I actually really love Boast Busters, even considering the misfired moral of the story. Besides the obvious awesome introduction to Trixie, I really liked the Ursa and how they got the three most outgoing and combative members of the main cast to try to one-up her - with Pinkie and Fluttershy, being the most tolerant and likely to preach restraint, somehow conspicuously absent.

I won't go on about it that much. Just wanted to say that it was decent. Had its highs and its lows. Trixie was nice to see, but f*ck was she handled rather poorly. Something about her flavor was off.

Another episode another review. Sorry it took so long to do this but since the episode I have been spending my time studying for tests and writing papers. With this episode we see a return to the moral of the premier in Starlight's first central episode. When I learned that Starlight would have to make the first friend since Sunburst and I thought it was really great to see that the writers were able to work such an entertaining character like Trixie into the story.
